Lockdown Love Collection

“Our ethic must be one of belonging…To listen to the trees, nature’s great connectors, is therefore to learn how to inhabit the relationships that give life its source, substance and beauty.”

—David Haskell

#LockdownLove

We’re learning a lot about connection right now. About how each of us fills a vital role in our network—and where that network falls short in times of crisis. To honor this renewed understanding of connection, I’m launching my Lockdown Love collection.

All items in this collection are priced on a sliding scale, with 10% of the proceeds going to the Seattle Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund. Pay what you can and help me donate to a fund that is supporting our much-needed community nonprofits during a time when they need it most. Before I was an artist, I worked in nonprofit administration and donor relations. I know how thin the margins are in good times. We’re far from that now. Join me in helping those who are protecting vulnerable populations and the environment as we all face a changed world.

I chose the materials for this collection because of the lessons these organisms can teach us about going through crisis. About how to depend on one another. About how to trust ourselves. About how to lean into the fire. About the power of beauty.

I hope these pieces keep you grounded in these lessons and buoyant in your connection to others during this time.

You can learn more about my philosophy behind this project both on my website or through my promotional video on my Instagram. You can also follow the hashtag #lockdownlove to see the other artists who are donating a portion of proceeds to relief funds during this pandemic.

Thank you for being a part of my network. I am grateful for all you do to support my work and vision. I hope you’ll join me in spreading the love even further.

Be well, my friends— and get outside for a bit if you can.
